Advertising rules on SIVRCE
Version 1.0 of 27 September 2026
In short
- Advertising on SIVRCE is only a banner in a separate block, with “Ad” on every card.
- A position in the contractor list, in the price comparison or in the request queue is not for sale — neither by plan nor by advertising.
- The text must be in Georgian. A translation is allowed, but not larger and not longer.
- The advertiser is responsible for the content; SIVRCE for the place, time and manner of display.
- An administrator checks every placement before it goes live. We may refuse or remove it — with the reason explained.
1. What advertising on SIVRCE is
A paid placement is a banner with a title, a short text and a link. Places:
- Banner on the contractor list — for contractors;
- Banner in the materials catalogue — for shops (on the “CRM” plan);
- Banner on the home page — for both.
A contractor's profile and a shop's storefront and prices are not advertising and buy no position, but the same duty of truthfulness applies to them (section 5).
2. What a placement buys and what it does not
- It buys: a banner in the chosen place for the chosen period, optionally in one city.
- It does not buy: a position in the contractor list (ranked by rating), in the price comparison (ranked by price), in the request queue, a verification badge or reviews.
- The price is shown in the cabinet before you request. We invoice you; payment by bank transfer or TBC/BOG. There is no card payment on the site.
- A placement goes live only after an administrator records the payment.
3. How ads are labelled
The Law on Advertising (Art. 4(1)) requires that an advertisement is immediately recognisable as one. Therefore:
- the block is headed “Paid placement” and “It does not affect the order of the list”;
- every card says “Ad” (“რეკლამა” in Georgian, “Реклама” in Russian) and names the advertiser;
- links are marked as paid (rel="sponsored") — for search engines too;
- an ad never sits inside a list and never looks like an ordinary card. We do not remove the label on request.
4. Language and price
- Advertising in Georgia is disseminated in the state language (Art. 4(2)). Text in a foreign language may not be larger or longer than the Georgian (Art. 4(3)).
- Without Georgian text in the title the system will not switch the placement on.
- Prices in lari (Art. 4(15)). If you state a price, also state the unit price (Law on the Protection of Consumer Rights, Art. 6(4)) and any extra costs (delivery, installation).
5. What is not allowed
- Untrue information about price, quality, timing, availability or yourself — “unreliable advertising” (Art. 3).
- “Best”, “cheapest”, “No. 1” — unless you have a verifiable basis and state it.
- Comparison with a competitor that does not meet Art. 12¹: goods for the same purpose, material and verifiable features, no confusion, no discrediting. Denigrating a competitor is prohibited (Art. 3; Law on Competition, Art. 11³).
- A SIVRCE verification level you do not have; “recommended by SIVRCE”; reviews and rating beyond or unlike what your profile shows.
- A person's name or image without their consent (Art. 4(9)); someone else's trademark without the right (Art. 4(10)).
- An activity that needs a licence or permit you do not hold (Art. 4(6)).
- A false deadline (“today only”), “free” with a hidden charge, a false prize (Law on the Protection of Consumer Rights, Art. 25(1)(f), (o); Art. 27(1)(f)).
- Offensive, discriminatory or violence-inciting content (Art. 3, 4(11)).
- SIVRCE does not accept advertising of alcohol, tobacco, gambling, weapons, securities or financial services at all.
- The link must lead to your own page, https:// or http://.
6. Review, refusal and removal
Before switching a placement on, an administrator checks the text, the language and the link. We may ask for changes, refuse, or remove a live placement — always explaining why.
A breach of these rules — we remove at once. If we remove it for a reason other than your breach, we agree on the days not shown.
To complain about an ad: hello@sivrcespace.ge or the “Complaints and disputes” procedure.
7. Who is responsible for what
- The advertiser (contractor or shop) — for the content: what the ad says and whether it is true (Art. 20(1)).
- SIVRCE as the disseminator — for the time, place and manner of display (Art. 20(3)): the “Ad” label, the separate block, no effect on the order of a list.
- If a third party brings a claim against SIVRCE because of your ad's content, you compensate the damage.
- We keep the ad material for at least two months after the last day of display (Art. 15).
8. Marketing messages to people
A marketing message to a client through SIVRCE's CRM or journal (a promotion, a new service) is allowed only with their consent and with a simple way to opt out (Law on Personal Data Protection, Art. 12). The sender is responsible for it. SIVRCE itself sends only service notifications — see “Notifications and marketing messages”.
