Review policy
Version 1.0 of 27 September 2026
In short
- Only a homeowner who has accepted this contractor's work can leave a review. One project — one review.
- Bought reviews, reviews of yourself and reviews in a competitor's name are prohibited.
- We do not remove or hide a review for money or a plan — only for breaking these rules.
- A contractor can tell us a review is wrong; we check it against both sides' material.
- The author's name is not shown publicly.
1. Who leaves a review
- Only the project's customer — the homeowner who contracted with this contractor on SIVRCE.
- Only after the work is accepted (the acceptance act is signed and the warranty has started).
- One review per contractor per project, a rating from 1 to 5, text optional.
- The system does not record reviews of work done outside SIVRCE. That makes a “bought review” technically hard — and it is prohibited anyway.
2. What is not allowed
- A review in exchange for money, a discount or a gift — or asking for a review on condition of “five stars only”.
- Reviewing yourself, or via a relative or employee; reviewing a competitor under someone else's name. The Law on the Protection of Consumer Rights (Art. 25(1)(q)) prohibits creating the false impression that a trader is a consumer.
- Insults, other people's personal data (phone, address, personal number), defamation — statements of fact that are untrue.
- Advertising and links in the review text.
- A contractor may not threaten a homeowner or stop work because of a review.
3. How reviews are shown
On the profile — the latest 10 reviews: stars, date, text. The author's name is not shown. On the card — the rating and the number of reviews.
The rating is smoothed: (4.5 × 5 + sum) ÷ (5 + count) — see “How we compare prices and rank contractors”.
A bad review is not removed or pushed down at a contractor's request, for a plan or for advertising. There is no selective display (“good ones only”).
4. Checks and removal
Reviews are not pre-screened — they appear at once. If someone tells us a review breaks these rules, we check it against the project records (journal, stages, receipts) and both sides' explanations.
If a rule is broken, we hide or delete the review and tell both sides why. A disputed review that stays within the rules is left alone — the opinion belongs to the homeowner.
For now this is done by hand, by email: there is no “report this review” button yet.
5. The contractor's reply
There is no public reply field under a review yet. If you think a review is wrong, write to hello@sivrcespace.ge naming the project. We reply within 10 working days.
