Notifications and marketing messages

A notification about what is happening with your account or project: a new offer, a site visit, a stage to accept, an estimate change, a receipt, an invoice, a review result, a referral reward. The basis is the contract (Law on Personal Data Protection, Art. 5(1)(b)); it is not advertising.

Channels: on-site notification, email, SMS, Telegram and WhatsApp — the last two only if you connected them yourself.

The most necessary ones (e.g. “confirm the visit time”) may come by SMS if you have no email or have not opted out of SMS.

• Email: the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of every email, or your mail app's button — one click, no sign-in. Switch back on in your profile.
• Frequency: in your profile — “immediately”, “once a day” or “once a week”. Urgent items do not wait for the digest.
• Telegram and WhatsApp: disconnect in your profile.
• SMS: contractors — in the profile. Homeowners have no switch yet — write to hello@sivrcespace.ge and we will turn it off.
• Opting out of service emails does not remove on-site notifications: they stay under the bell.

SIVRCE does not send marketing messages today. If we start, we will follow Article 12 of the Law on Personal Data Protection and Article 5 of the Law on Electronic Commerce:

• only with your consent — a separate field, never pre-ticked; signing up and the service will not depend on it;
• only name, phone and email; any other data only with written consent (Art. 12(2));
• before consent and in every message — that you can withdraw at any time, and how (Art. 12(3));
• opt-out through the same channel the message came by, simple and free (Art. 12(5)–(7)); we stop at once, no later than 7 working days (Art. 12(4));
• the message will be clearly marketing and clearly from SIVRCE; conditions of promotions and gifts easy to find (Law on Electronic Commerce, Art. 5(1));
• we keep the date of consent and of withdrawal while messages are sent and for one year after they stop (Art. 12(9)).

A contractor can write to you through SIVRCE about your project. That is their message, not ours. A marketing message (a promotion, a new service) is allowed only with your consent — our advertising rules say so too. If a contractor or shop sends you advertising without consent, tell us.
